The Rules Are Not Enough Every Situation is Unique

How to choose and what to choose will depend on a wide variety of factors. Even if people understand the rules of enrollment, there is the still why/how/when to select the proper plan to fit the situation.

In addition, many people face special situations, when the “normal” rules don’t apply.

Retired Hospital CEO & CFO
I first learned of Jae Oh approximately three years ago when I found his name while trying to get in the mood to undertake the research of our very complex Medicare system as it related to both my wife and my self.
It seemed that ever corner that I turned in this endeavor lead me continuously back to Jae Oh and his annually updated book, Maximize Your Medicare. The book certainly addresses all areas that one needs to be educated on prior to making life long decisions and meeting critical deadlines. Having been both a hospital CFO and CEO for thirty years, I felt I was in “Great Hands” in undertaking this endeavor.
After reading his first book in 2017, I sit down during the Christmas holidays and sent Jae a rather detailed letter concerning what we were contemplating with our healthcare scenario considering I was retired and I was wanting my wife to join me as soon as possible.
By the way, she has spent the last thirty years in both hospitals and physician practices in the areas of billing, accounting, and practice management. So, we have a vast amount of experience with our Medicare system though as I got more into it, I found I was raising more questions than reaching answers.
Then, on that very same day during the holidays, I received a very detailed response of two pages which stopped us from making huge mistakes as to our decisions.
Talk about great customer service and his quick response and knowledge of the Medicare field along with all his other financial and insurance areas that he brings to the table proved that my instinct was right. He was the most “Service oriented” and knowledgeable individual that I had been seeking for sometimes. I have since purchased the 2018 and 2019 copies of Maximize Your Medicare and each time have felt that he is by far the most up-to-date individual in the Medicare maze today. The research and annual changes found in this field are one-hundred percent reflected in the yearly updating of his book. There is no way you can go wrong in educating yourself through the use of such a well written and yet down to earth book.
This now brings us to our decision making time in 2019 and I feel after a one-on-one conference with Jae as to our personal changes over the past several years that I am entering some of life’s important decisions with the knowledge that I needed.
The book truly allows you to have all the required information in one place and rest assured that it is as current and well written as our Government and Insurance Carriers will release the answers that you are seeking.
Once you have read Maximize Your Medicare, made a list of the areas that you feel you need further guidance on, and then set up a personal one-on-one call with Jae, you will indeed reach the decision- making process with the understanding and knowledge required of this very important matter.
I can only Thank Jae for making me feel totally empowered along with the making of a close, new friend who will be there as changes take place in upcoming years.
